1.MAG LANNING : FORMER AUSTRALIAN CAPTAIN OF WOMEN TEAM

Former Australia captain Meg Lanning is leading from the front as a captain and a player for Delhi Capitals. She has scored 493 runs in 13 innings so far at a strike-rate of around 130. She opens the batting alongside Shafali Verma and will be adding more to her tally in the ongoing season.

2.Nat Sciver-Brunt

Nat Sciver-Brunt of Mumbai Indians is next in this list having amassed 419 runs so far in WPL history. She is an all-rounder but has batted superbly for the inaugural champions so far. Sciver-Brunt is in great form this season as well but is yet to play a breakthrough knock this season.

3.Grace Harris

Grace Harris has topped the charts big time after being in frame last season. So far this seasn she has amassed 153 runs in four innings and add 230 runs from WPL 2023 to it which makes her the third highest this season. Harris is an explosive cricketer and often makes a telling contribution with the bat.

4.India and Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur

India and Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur is in this list when it comes to scoring most runs in WPL history. She has scored 382 runs so far in 12 matches and has been in great form in WPL 2024 as well. Though she has missed a couple of matches, Kaur will soon be expected to climb the ladder in this aspect.

5.Hayley Matthews

Another Mumbai Indians player Hayley Matthews is on this list of most runs scored in WPL history. The all-rounder won the purple cap last year and was the fifth highest run-scorer as well. Overall, she has scored 359 runs in her WPL career and is a candidate to soon top the list as well.
